Hershey's Kisses Beauty
On April 17, 2010, surrounded by family & friends, Jovel Garcia walked down the isle to meet her prince, Victor Garcia in a sexy destination gown by Niki Livas from the Niki White Collection. The intimate ceremony took place at the beautiful Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty Six in Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Initially the bride wanted a short dress for her wedding but as fate would have it this dress was destined to be the one... and a great choice might I add.
This floor-length, sophisticated yet sexy laced number fitted her curves like a glove on a cold winter's day, placing emphasis on the right areas. With added details such as satin accordion sweetheart bust with spaghetti straps worn criss-crossed in the back.
The bride opted for a delicate feather & flower headband and the look was completed with dainty dangling silver and crystal stone earrings, a necklace and cuff bracelets.
The bride was effortlessly gorgeous and her beautiful chocolate skin radiated as she patiently waited to be told it was time... how would I know? Well I'm glad you asked.
As fate would have it, I was the makeup artist who had the privilege of painting such a lovely canvas on such a special day ☺.
She was what I called my "Easy Like Sunday Morning Bride." Her whole aura & attitude was definitely in sync with her entire appearance. She was the epitome of "Grandeur" in it's finest form.
In the words of the bride... "The ceremony was very small and intimate with only eight guests; that included our parents and other immediate family. It was so touching and I loved how I was able to connect with everyone on a very personal level. And the food, wooohoooooo!! Such a lovely day!"
Jovel, you have already celebrated your 1 year anniversary. CONGRATULATIONS!!! We wish you many more years of laughter, love, success and all things great on your continued journey of life with your best friend, lover and companion Victor Garcia.
Until next time,
Smile, you're on camera ☺

A Modern Audrey Hepburn
DareShawn "Dare" Henry walked the isles of Truth International Church in Orlando, Florida on April 23, 2011 wearing her beautifully sculptured and detailed dress which also happened to be her "SOMETHING OLD."
Judging by the photos, the bride revived this timeless piece and adorned the look with classic long clustered-pearl earrings. There was no need for a necklace since the dress had a beautiful neckline. For a romantic look the back of the wedding gown was lined with satin covered buttons. The bride looked like a Modern day Audrey Hepburn... she took "SOMETHING OLD" and made it her "SOMETHING NEW"... a new love, new beginnings, new story, a new era, a new journey and a new legacy.
The gown was given to her by her Pastor's mom, Sherrie Williams. A beautiful gift for a beautiful girl. I'm sure if the dress could talk it would tell the story of the moment it was first bought, the moment Mrs Williams first stepped foot inside of it... the moment she walked down the isle in it... the moment her fiance first saw her in in. If only... how amazing those stories would be. And now, DareShawn has added her own history to the life of the gown.
DareShawn, you were an authentic bride, you redefined the meaning of Vintage, Classic & Timeless.
We wish you all the best in your new life with your new hubby. And we hope to hear of the next favored young lady who will also grace another isle in this beautiful piece.
Until next time,
Smile, you're on camera ☺
